1. Data Collection
Contact Form Data
We collect personal data that users voluntarily provide through the contact form, namely name, mobile number and email address. This data is used exclusively to contact the user and respond to their requests, and is delivered by email, via Resend, to Coollight's mailbox. Accepting the privacy policy is required to submit the form.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) - responding to your quote or information request. Retention: maximum 12 months after the request is resolved.
Language Preferences
We use a session cookie to store the user's language preference, with the aim of improving the browsing experience and providing a more personalized service.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), improved browsing experience with no collection of personally identifiable data.
Vercel Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to track our website usage anonymously and in aggregate. This tool does not use cookies and does not store your IP address or other personally identifiable data such as your name or email: your IP is used only transiently, at request time, to generate aggregate visit counts, and is not retained. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), no cookies, no personally identifiable data.
Google Analytics (with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to understand how visitors use our website. It runs with Google Consent Mode v2, configured to deny analytics and advertising storage by default: until you give explicit consent through our cookie banner, no analytics cookies are written and no data that could identify you is collected. If you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _gid and collects information such as pages visited, session duration, device and browser type, and approximate (city-level) location derived from a truncated IP address that is never stored. We have not enabled Google Signals or any advertising features, and the data is not used for advertising. Data may be processed on Google servers in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time by declining in the cookie banner or by clearing the site data in your browser; withdrawal stops any further collection but does not affect processing already carried out.
3. Data Usage
Personal data provided through the contact form is used exclusively to respond to messages sent by users and provide the requested service.
The language cookie is used to remember the visitor's language preference while browsing the website.
Data collected by Vercel Analytics is used to analyze website traffic and improve its performance and content, always anonymously and in aggregate.
Data collected by Google Analytics (upon consent) is used solely for internal statistical purposes, specifically to understand user behavior on the site and improve the browsing experience. This data is not used for advertising purposes nor shared with third parties for such ends.
4. Protection and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, in compliance with information security best practices.

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

6. Storage and Sharing
The data you submit through the contact form is delivered by email, via Resend, to Coollight's mailbox (hosted on Google's email service), where it is stored. It is not shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. It is retained for as long as necessary to answer your request and, at most, for 12 months after it is resolved, after which it is deleted from the mailbox.
For the provision of our services we rely on the following subcontractors (data processors): Vercel, Inc., responsible for website hosting and anonymous statistical analysis of access; Google LLC, responsible for Google Analytics (only where consent is granted) and for the email service where we receive and store contact requests; and Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), responsible for delivering the emails generated by the contact form. These subcontractors may process data on servers in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). Google Analytics cookies are placed only with your explicit consent and are not shared with advertisers. Our language preference cookie is stored only during the session, unless manually cleared by the user.
